Great for grab and go

This is a pack of 12 Protein ball that do give a nice little boost, They are quite a heavy and chewy ball, To me I wasn't a fan of these and preferred the peanut butter ones, The maple to me was just too over powering even tough I do like maple syrup, I passed them on to my vegan son who loved them , They give a decent amount of protein but not so good for a diet at 180 celeries, They are good for a quick grab and go snack and are certainly one of the better protein snacks I have tried.

Nearly 50% nuts have a dense chunky nut butter texture; very filling

In their 35grams the Bounce Maple Pecan & Cashew Balls are 157 calories, 8.6g of fat, 10.9g of carbs, 2.1g of protein and 0.25g of salt. The balls are 40% cashew, 5% pecan and the rest are a bit of a mish mash of soya, rice and sweeteners. They are free of artificial flavours and preservatives; the full ingredients list doesn’t have any e numbers, though it doesn’t name everything “Natural Flavourings” could be anything. There is a warning that there could be peanut or milk in them if you have dairy or peanut allergies. The balls don’t look especially appetising; and have a chunky dense nut butter texture. That said I love eating nuts; and these have a lovely cashew forward flavour. They aren’t in any way salty leaning into the maple/ sugary side of nuts. They are a filling snack though and have done a great job carrying me to lunch as an elevenses this last week.

Nope… not for me! But colleagues liked them.

I’ve never had anything from this brand before. I actually got these to try as my partner and I are very much into our high protein diets and always on the lookout for protein ‘treats’ for our packed lunch boxes. They have a fairly long ‘use by’ date which is handy.I liked the fact that they were individually packaged, but I initially thought they were 35g packs containing several small balls, not one huge ball, which I personally think would be better as nibbling snacks. The pack actually contains one large ‘ball’ of chewy gooey nutty stuff, which not only tastes weird (like a slightly dry peanut butter with small crunchy pieces of nuts on the top, and a horrid aftertaste), but also looks like it belongs somewhere on the Bristol stool chart! They are actually quite high in calories (157) and also in saturated fat (1.6g) for the 35g size. My partner didn’t like them at all either and took the rest of the box in to her work (a leisure centre) where several of her fitness instructor/lifeguard colleagues tried them.Surprisingly, the 4 people who tried the protein balls at work, actually liked them!Concluding that it really is down to personal taste and preference.

Very nutty but a little dry

These have a lovely nutty flavour and are soft throughout with an even softer centre. They’re a round shape and quite dense and heavy.I did find them a little dry and cloying and did need a drink after eating one.The calorie content is a bit higher than I’d have liked so is a treat and nit sine thing I could eat regularly.Tgey came as a box of 12 with each one packaged separately

Nice enough flavour but not the best bounce balls

I have tried a few Bounce balls and these were the least fave. These protein ones are lower in saturated fat which is a pro. The flavour is pretty bland to me. but it's a good highish protein snack to keep you going until your next meal/post-workout.They are surprisingly filling for such a small snack. They have a dense, fudgy, sticky texture that feels substantial and with a smoky, sweet maple flavour but not sweet enough for my taste. The balls are compact and easy to pop in a bag as they are individually wrapped.Overall, these are nice enough but high in calories for the joy they give. I’d rather have a few nuts, to be honest.

Poor packaging produces protein pancakes

Bounce is a great product but don’t waste your money buying from this retailer. They tipped them all into an envelope and sent them through the post that way, with the entirely predictable result that they all arrived squashed. And it can’t be returned apparently. Slow handclap.

Dont tast good

Very plastic taste, unsure the ingredients are particularly good either. Not a fan of soya and it is rumoured to be particularly unhealthy in many dietician books.Cashews (40%), Brown Rice Syrup, Soya Protein Crispies (Soya Protein Isolate, Tapioca Starch, Salt) (8%),Rice Protein (6%), Grape Juice Concentrate, Rice Starch, Pecan Nuts (5%),Chicory Fibre, Soya Flour, Soya Protein Isolate (3%),Rice Bran, Rice Flour, Stabiliser: Guar Gum, Natural Flavorings, Sea Salt.

Bounce Plant Protein Maple Pecan & Cashew Balls

I picked up the Bounce Plant Protein Maple Pecan and Cashew Balls for my wife and I who are heath enthusiasts and protein fanatics. We're always obsessed with checking protein levels in everything, so I knew this would be right up our alley. I was genuinely impressed with the taste of these bars. They're not only 100% vegan but also surprisingly delicious. They have a nice blend of sweetness and nuttiness, with a squidgy nut butter centre that makes each bite enjoyable. There are twelve 35g packs in each box, each one individually wrapped to maintain freshness and are perfect for on-the-go snacking. At under 160 calories per serving, they offer a guilt-free snack option that’s both nutritious and tasty. We both like these - me even more than my wife and I give them two thumbs up!

Nutty Nibbles Worth The Splurge

Indulging in these protein-packed treats is quite the experience. Their dense, nutty texture, enriched with the flavours of maple pecan and cashew, offers a delightful change from the usual protein bars. I recently tried them during a late morning meeting, and I found that one was just enough to satiate my hunger until lunch. Each ball is individually wrapped, making it convenient to carry in my briefcase or even on a family outing. While they are a bit pricey and higher in calories than some other options, the blend of chewy and crunchy textures with the hint of sweet syrup makes up for it. The nut butter centre is subtly integrated, not overwhelming, which pleased my palate. However, to be honest, they are somewhat dry, so having a drink nearby is advisable. Despite their high fat content, they are vegan and gluten-free, which is a bonus for those with dietary restrictions. Overall, they are a satisfying, portable snack that I would consider buying again, especially if they are on offer.

nice taste (could be stronger), small, energy-dense. A bit stodgy, pricey

PROS-a nice taste (though not very strong)-small, but very energy-dense (you don’t have to eat a lot of these)-a good amount of protein in each (but also a good amount of carbs and fats)CONS-I find a bite of these a bit stogy to chew, a monotexture (like a big mouthful of thick peanut butter)-priceyMY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Taste OK, but too dry for me

These Bounce maple, pecan, and cashew protein balls come boxed, and each one is individually wrapped (pack of 12 x 35 g balls). The balls are actually bigger than I anticipated and have 157 calories per ball. They don't taste bad, but I did expect the nut butter centre to be softer/runnier (like it appears in the product listing photos). The taste isn’t overly sweet, and the flavours are subtle, but my partner and I both think the consistency is too dry and claggy —  you definitely need a drink to wash them down with. Overall, they’re OK, but I wouldn’t rush to order any more. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Convenient snack.

I ordered these Protein Balls for my Partner who does a lot of MTB riding, they are small and convenient to chuck in a back-pack and eat on rides to give him a bit of energy. You get 12 x 35g individually wrapped ‘balls’.These ones are Maple Pecan & Cashew filled with Nut Butter, and quite honestly they’re yum, although the nut butter centre wasn’t as noticable as I expected and kind of got lost in the overall taste of it.Still, I enjoyed them, and my partner who consumed most of them certainly found them to be an enjoyable and convenient quick bite.

Almost there

After my initial small bite, I wasn't impressed nor was it bad. Then after biting into the centre, the nut butter elevated the flavour and made it taste better. The nut butter tasted good but the consistency was a little thicker than I would like and it is dry. You 100% need a beverage with this, in my case, I had this with iced coffee. In terms of nutrition, 157kcals for 8.1g of protein is not bad but also not great. I found bars with similar calories and over double the protein but also on the same taste scale. If the centre was softer and creamier, I would buy this again.

Pecan Do It

Selling a product is all about branding and rebranding if needed. In the 80s it was better to be bigger, badder and fuller of sugar than the next treat. Now treats are frowned upon, so how do you repackage something that is higher in sugar and fat? As a protein snack. To say that these 'Bounce Plant Protein Maple Pecan & Cashew Balls' are healthy is pushing things, but as they are sold as a snack to have post workout, you need some of the ingredients. I would call them better than a chocolate bar. What I like about these pecan treats is that they are vegan and gluten free so can be eaten by all my family. They are not super sweet, due to the nuts, but I found them nice. The pack comes with lots of small bags, each containing a ball. I feel that one at a time is enough as the ingredients are not super healthy if you are not exercising regularly.

Nice, but not the best

I love pecan, cashew, peanut, basically everything that goes into these, yet some how these aren't totally amazing unfortunately.I find them quite firm and chewy, much like a another brand of protein bar's centre if you took of the chocolate.I expected the nut butter middle to be a bit softer and creamier but alas, it was quite dry and more like the general ball itself.Considering the cost, I expected a bit more. If you are vegan, and need a vegan option then this does present a choice for you.For me however, these were ultimately a bit bland and a bit expensive. I don't hate them, they aren't inedible, but I wouldn't personally get them again.

Delicious

I bought 3 versions of these. The flavours were Cookie Dough, Caramelised Biscuit, and Maple Pecan Cashew. With the exception of the latter, they all have a peanut butter core and taste quite similar. Note that unlike a lot of these "protein ball" snacks, these are shaped as one big lump, rather than smaller individual pieces. They are essentially pieces of flap-jack, so if you've tried that, it gives you an idea of what to expect from the general shape/texture.I'll share my thoughts on each flavour, below:Cookie Dough: The first one I tried and probably my favourite. Soft, moist, lovely peanut butter core. The cookie dough is well-balanced with the peanut butter, and it's just generally very easy to eat. So much so, I ate two packets in one go....Caramelised Biscuit: These taste similar to the cookie dough, but are more like a traditional flap-jack. The biscuit is shaped in little pieces, mixed in around the outer coating of oats. The core is still the same peanut butter. Not as soft as the cookie dough flavour as a result of the biscuit, but still very enjoyable.Maple Pecan Cashew: This one differs in that it has a cashew/nut filling, rather than peanut butter. In reality, they taste pretty similar. The outer coating is a maple/pecan flavour, and tastes quite different to the other two as a result. As someone who loves maple pecan bakes, this isn't a bad thing. Texture wise, it's a cross between the cookie dough (softest) and the biscuit (hardest). Again, these will definitely get eaten quickly in our household.Overall, they're probably the nicest of those protein-marketed bars I've tried here on Amazon. Everyone here enjoyed them immensely and they come in a nicely packaged box, which protects the individual sachets from getting squashed in transit.

What's this?
Tasty protein snack thats nutty and chewy

You get 12 individually wrapped balls in a box of the Bounce Maple Pecan & Cashew Protein Balls. They're Allergen free apart from nuts and Soya so they are gluten free and vegan. The main ingredient is Cashews at 40%. There's also 5% pecans. All the ingredients look pretty natural. The ball is a Pecan and Maple flavoured ball filled with Cashew butter. Its very chewy but pretty tasty. They are a bit dry-ish, but not too badly and not so much as the Cookie Dough Flavour which I also tried. Each ball contains 8.1g protein and is 157 kCal. The Best Before date is around 7 months away. They're a good size and make a change from protein bars and oat based products and as a coeliac I'm pleased to see they're gluten free.

Tasty but rather expensive

These are tasty snacks, albeit rather expensive at the time of writing, working out at almost £1.35 each. They are small, but very dense and slightly sticky. To eat, they are sweet, and a mixture of chewy and crunchy. I found the first taste reminded me of popcorn, although there's no corn in these. Maybe it's the mixture of syrup and sea salt, which would be similar to popcorn. I can taste the nuts. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the texture of the "nut butter centre", as I imagined finding a kind of paste inside. But the "butter" is well-integrated with the whole, so you don't get a sense of biting into some kind of mush.I like them. Although the low calories are a selling-point, I think they're quite high-calorie for their small size, but they're quite stodgy and satisfying ("stick to your ribs", as my mother would say), so you probably won't feel the urge to indulge in too many at once.In percentage terms they are relatively high in both fats and sugars (24.4% and 19.7% respectively), but they are 23.1% protein.Being both vegan and gluten-free is a bonus for those who have those dietary restrictions.I'm not sure I'd get them regularly, because of the price, but I'd certainly be tempted if they were on offer, and open to exploring the other flavours too.
